A Bubblemaker experience is a one-off session to experience scuba diving for children aged 8 or older. This is an opportunity to discover what it feels like to breath underwater and to take the first steps into the underwater world.

The Seal Team is a course that takes place over a minimum of five sessions. It reinforces safe diving skills while having fun. In addition, it provides parents with a structured program that lets their children develop skills, learn about the aquatic environment and have a lot of good, clean fun. This is also an excellent way to introduce kids to scuba diving prior to full Open Water Diver certification.

To participate in PADI Seal Team, a child must be at least 8 years old

What You Learn

The PADI Seal Team program is broken into two parts.

Part one, AquaMissions 1 - 5, teaches the basics of diving such as buoyancy control, mask clearing, regulator recovery.  After building a solid foundation of scuba skills, part two develops these skills further.

PADI Seal Team helps children learn responsibility, teaches children about the aquatic environment, is a fun pool-only experience and is conducted by certified, trained PADI Professionals. Divers develop communication skills and learn to work in partnership with others.

There are wider learning applications with diving and many links to the National Curriculum. Diving introduces children to the concepts of pressures, the environment and physiology, learned in a practical and fun way without children realising they are actually learning!

Your Next Adventure

Upon successful completion of the first five AquaMissions, students become a PADI Seal Team members. After successfully completing 10 additional specialty Aqua Missions, students become Master Seal Team members. When children are 10 years old, they can take complete the Junior PADI Open Water Diver certification

Why Ocean Diver?

Paul is a highly experienced educator with children and young people; Maryse is a qualified and practising teacher. We are both DBS checked. We run with small group sizes to support our divers to become safe and confident divers.

The PADI Bubblemaker and Seal Team is for young divers who are looking for action-packed fun in a pool. You can book as a one off experience or for a series of sessions where you will complete AquaMissions. These introduce you to wreck, navigation, buoyancy, underwater photography, environmental awareness and more.  We also run snorkelling sessions to build confidence in the water.
