Children’s Parties

We offer snorkelling parties and Bubblemaker parties. Snorkelling parties are for a maximum of twenty children, and cost a total of £299 for a two hour session including exclusive use of the pool house and swimming pool. Children can be in the pool for the full two hours, or they can be in the pool for an hour and half, following by half an hour for food and cake. The most popular arrangement by parents is a 90 minute pool session, followed by pizza (delivered from Caterham) and cake.

The Bubblemaker parties are also for a maximum of 20 children, although the time is split between diving and snorkelling. The cost for up to eight children is £299. For nine to twelve children the cost is £399. For thirteen to fifteen children the cost is £449 and from sixteen to twenty children the cost is £499.  The party will last a total of two and a half hours including thirty minutes for food and cake.

If you are interested in booking a party then email us to check availability and we will then reserve the pool. We require a £200 deposit for the booking with the balance paid prior to the party.

Bubblemaker and Seal Team

The Bubblemaker experience is a one off experience in scuba diving. Open to children aged eight and above, it is a gentle introduction to the underwater world.

The Seal Team is a series of Aquamissions that children complete over a series of sessions. The course takes approximately six sessions to complete. Children can then continue to the Master Seal Team programme, which is a further ten sessions in the pool.

The Seal Team introduces divers to the basic skills that form the first step of open water training.  Divers will not be able to dive in open water but they will be well prepared to complete the full open water course once they reach the age of ten.

Course fees: £45 per child, per session.

Junior Open Water/Advanced

Ocean Diver is proud of introducing the next generation into scuba diving. As a qualified and practising teacher, Maryse is highly experienced with teaching young people and she is ably supported by a team of DBS-checked, Safe Guarding trained volunteers. We have introduced the YODA (Youth Ocean Diver Ambassador) programme to enable more experienced young people to mentor younger and newer divers. We run occasional “club nights” for our younger divers to get them involved with the club culture of UK diving, and to introduce them to key members of the UK Diving community.

The Open Water course is full of skills and knowledge. If you’d like your child to complete the course over a longer period of time then ask us about the “Take Your Time” option for the open water.

Standard Junior Open Water course fees: £499 (theory via manual) | £529 (theory via online learning)

Take your time Junior Open Water course fees: £45 per monthly pool session (minimum six sessions); £100 per day in open water (minimum of two days); £45 for crew pack.
