The aim of Ocean Diver’s dive school is to provide quality Scuba Diving training and education in a safe and/or controlled environment that is delivered in a relaxed and friendly manner. We strive to make our courses easy to find, book and understand and more importantly, accessible, to everyone who meets with the required medical safety standards.

Booking with Ocean Diver
Bookings with Ocean Diver may be made by via the Ocean Diver web-site, by e-mail, post or telephone.
All bookings shall be confirmed in writing by e-mail or post within 5 working days.
Until you have received confirmation of booking, by e-mail or post, your course shall not be deemed as booked.
All course fees must be received in full, prior to the commencement of your booked course.
For corporate bookings an invoice shall be provided on request and upon receipt of a purchase order.
Ocean Diver reserve the right to withhold training and/or services until payment is met in full as per these Terms and Conditions.
Lost or damaged certification cards can be replaced subject to a fee
Certification cards or replacement certification cards not received within 6 weeks from completion of your course, or replacement request, should be reported to Ocean Diver by email email@example.com
In the event of you having to cancel your booking, the following charges shall apply;
· 28 days or more – Free of charge
· 14 – 27 days – 25% of the price of the course
· 13 – 7 days – 50% of the price of the course
· 6 days or fewer – 100% of the price of the course. No refund shall be given.
All cancellations and/or alterations must be submitted in writing via e-mail or by post. Telephone cancellations shall be considered advisory only.
A booking shall only be considered as cancelled/altered when you receive written/email confirmation from Ocean Diver.
Attendance and Eligibility
Ocean Diver reserve the right to cancel or defer any course due to insufficient numbers of candidates to run a viable course. In such event, as much advance notice as is possible will be given and the offer of an alternative course or full refund will be given.
By booking on a course with Ocean Diver, you are agreeing to comply with our punctuality/attendance clause;
· Ocean Diver reserve the right to exclude any candidate who arrives late for the start of their course, if the instructor/trainer feels course content cannot be caught up without undue interruption to the punctual candidates’ learning experience.
· Ocean Diver reserve the right to exclude any candidate who misses any session of a course if the instructor/trainer feels course content cannot be caught up without undue interruption to the fellow candidates’ learning experience.
· Ocean Diver reserve the right to exclude any candidate who is disruptive or abusive if the instructor/trainer feels this behaviour is an interruption to their fellow candidates’ learning experience.
In such circumstances course fees shall remain payable and no refund shall be given.
· In the event of a student/candidate failing to attend a course or any part of a course, their course shall be deemed void. Only in exceptional circumstances shall any offer of refund be made. The candidate shall be required to re book onto a subsequent course.
Fees and Certification
All fees are payable no later than one week prior to commencement of any course. Certification shall not be issued until payment for any course is received in full.
E&OE (Errors & Omissions Excepted) applies to all prices within this web-site.
Notes for employers and candidates/students
Ocean Diver accepts that PADI dive course training can be physically demanding. By booking on an Ocean Diver course you duly acknowledge and accept the following terms;
Employers must ensure that any candidates put forward for any Ocean Diver course must be physically capable of coping with any physical activity that will be required of them.
Individuals booking on to any Ocean Diver course must ensure that they are physically capable of coping with any/all physical activity that will be required of them.
Ocean Diver can accept no responsibility or liability for injuries caused to candidates whilst participating in course activities. It is the sole responsibility of the candidate to ensure that they are physically capable and suitably prepared for any such activity.
It is the responsibility of the employer to ensure that any candidate put forward for any Ocean Diver course has the capability and aptitude to cope with the academic aspect of diving courses.
Whilst Ocean Diver welcome candidates with disabilities, it is the responsibility of the employer to assess suitability for the course and/or provide appropriate measures to enable the candidate to meet all course requirements.
Employers must inform Ocean Diver at time of booking, of any candidate with any disability and/or specific requirement, to enable us to provide a course that is fully accessible to the candidate.
