A superb weekend of diving with Porthkerris Divers. Some of the best UK Diving we have ever enjoyed!
The diving What can we say about the diving? It was stunning. We dived the beach a few times and had some lovely easy dives to enjoy. The dive sites on the Cat were Vase, Mohegan, the Volnay and the Camarthan. Our skipper was friendly and welcoming and his briefings included the history of the wrecks. We added on a dive on the Kitten and enjoyed the Spyridion, spending time exploring the wreck before navigating towards the Mohegan to enjoy the wreck again. We loved the jewel anenomes, cat fish amongst lots of other life. The vis was around 10m through the whole weekend.
Accommodation: We stayed in the accommodation which was comfortable, clean, and right on site, making it perfect for a long weekend of diving. The showers were hot and there was a friendly peacock on hand too!
Food: We contacted Sue at the Beach Café in advance and arranged a BBQ for one evening which was great. She was easy going with the timings, and as a diver she was able to plan around our dive times. We also enjoyed a few pub meals in the local village.
We enjoyed the weekend so much we’re heading back again soon. The set up is great and the team are helpful and went out of their way to make the weekend a good one. There are a range of dives to please divers’ different interests and there are shallow dives that will suit younger divers and new divers as well as more experienced and tec divers. Highly recommended!
