Scuba diving is an exciting and engaging activity. There are lots of opportunities to learn through scuba. Classroom sessions can introduce concepts such as pressure and marine life in the context of diving. Pool sessions allow students to experience theories of physics and physiology. They also develop communication skills and have the added benefit of increasing confidence through learning new skills.
Sessions are offered in a flexible way. We can run an afternoon, a full day or a series of sessions over the term. Maryse is a qualified and practising mathematics teacher; Paul is a highly experienced dive educator who has worked with a range of schools and organisations. Both are DBS checked.
The sessions are linked to the primary national curriculum; they can be extended to KS3 national curriculum too. We can incorporate further literacy and numeracy activities too. Please get in touch with your needs, or if you have further questions.
